Frequently asked questions
How much does a tailor-made itinerary cost?
Planning is free: we write, price and revise your itinerary before you pay anything. You pay only for the trip itself, priced per person per day at US$220–400 depending on hotel grade, group size and season.
How long does it take to receive an itinerary?
You receive a first draft within 12 hours and a costed itinerary within 24 to 36 hours. Complex trips involving Tibet permits or rail bookings take up to 72 hours, because we confirm real availability before quoting a price.
How many revisions can I make?
As many as you need before paying: our median tailor-made trip goes through three revisions before confirmation. After the deposit you still get two rounds of changes free; beyond that we pass on supplier fees at cost.
What is the shortest tailor-made trip you will build?
Three days is our minimum, which suits a single-city stay such as Beijing or Shanghai. Two days is possible, but the per-day cost rises about 20%, because airport transfers and guide fees do not shrink with the itinerary.
Can you add VIP or exclusive experiences?
Yes. We arrange private museum openings, after-hours Forbidden City access, panda-base volunteer sessions, tea harvest days with growers and helicopter flights over Guilin, subject to availability 30 to 60 days ahead. Each item is priced separately.
What deposit rules apply and is it refundable?
A 20% deposit secures your dates and is fully refundable for 30 days after payment. After that it covers costs already committed — hotels, rail tickets, permits — so we refund what suppliers return, typically 50–70% before 14 days.
